  • Maurice M. Williams Scholarship

    The Maurice M. Williams Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors in good academic standing who are residents of Somerset or Middlesex County. The students, male or female, will have served in a leadership capacity in school or within the community and have plans to attend college.

  • The Constance R. Pizarro Community Service and Leadership Award

    ​This award is presented to a young woman in recognition of her outstanding community based outreach. The award was established in honor of Mrs. Constance R. Pizarro the immediate past North Atlantic Regional Director of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., where she oversaw 133 graduate and undergraduate chapters. Mrs. Pizarro is the founder and incorporator of P.E.A.R.L.S. Inc., Nu Xi Omega chapters non-profit organization. Mrs. Pizarro is also a member of several community minded organizations including North Stelton AME Church and the Women in Leadership at Hofstra University. Her leadership also inspired The Diamond foundation of Kappa Alpha Psi to partner with P.E.A.R.L.S. Inc.

  • Diamond & Pearls Scholarship

    The Diamond & Pearls Scholarship is sponsored by The Diamond Foundation, Inc., the philanthropic foundation of the New Brunswick Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in partnership with P.E.A.R.L.S., Inc. The Diamond Foundation's primary mission is to provide educational opportunities to children in need. This award is provided to a deserving young man selected by both organizations.

  • Shawn Marie Stephens Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship named after Shawn Marie Stephens (deceased member of Nu Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.), is awarded to a high school senior who is in good academic standing and a resident of Somerset or Middlesex County. The student, male or female, will have served in a leadership capacity in school or within the community, plans to attend college, and planning to purse a major in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
